She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Mehringer and Caroline Mehringer (Beck); her daughter Marilyn; her children-in-law, Glen Werne and Gerri Schnaus; and her brother Charles Mehringer.
She is survived by: her husband Leroy J. Schnaus; and her children, Linda Erny (Dave), Ken Schnaus (Marilyn) of Jasper, IN, Steve Schnaus (Sandy) of Jasper, IN and Kevin Schnaus (Mary) of Jasper, IN. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 5 step great grandchildren.
