With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Davis A. Schitter of Ireland, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Schitter and Leona Schitter (Eckert); and his brothers, Levienes, Kenny and Melvin Schitter.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Schitter of Ireland; his children, Gregory Scheeter (Cheryl), Marian Stork (Howard) of Jasper and Mona Seifert of Jasper; his grandchildren, Luke, Nathan Scheeter, Audrey Anderson, Andy Stork, Amy Stork, Bailee Jacob and Mariah Seifert; and also Mary Schitter. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Dubois County. Special Olympics, or to a favorite charity.
