He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Dowden and Esther Dowden (Hedricks); his former wife Nancy Dowden (Bland); his son-in-law Michael Fuchs; and his siblings, Arthur, Jack, Burnha Lou, Janet and Phyllis.
He is survived by: his wife Pattie Dowden (Nicholas); his children, Jody Fuchs, Scott Dowden (Carol), Gabrielle Ayers and Jimmy Lowe; his grandchildren, Samantha Wiseman, Adam Fuchs, Cassie Glunt, Jessica, Allie Price, Zach, Audrey Dowden, Kayleigh, Ashley, Nicholas Ayres and Sophia Lowe; his siblings, Beverly Galloway and Ray Dowden (Carol); and also Jan Price (Steve). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
