We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2019, at the age of 77, Joyce Powell (Ingalls, Indiana), born in Etowah, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Allie J. Carpenter and Lou Ellen Carpenter (Nash); her husband Robert W. Powell; and her siblings, Kendull Caprenter, Doyle Carpenter, Eloise Williams, Mildred "Anita" Henry and Juanita Williams.

She is survived by: her sons, Terry R. Lawson (Michelle) of Indianapolis, Michael Lawson (Paula) of Anderson, Lonnie A. Lawson (Michelle) of Noblesville and Gregory Powell of Ingalls; her stepsons, Robert Powell (Lori) of Shelbyville and Christopher Powell of McCordsville; and her sisters, EllaMae Chaple of Ingalls and Alline Thompson (Johnny) of New Port, AR.. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
