With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilma J. Gibson of Indianapolis, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 24, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Bell and Lillian Bell Eikenberry (Glover); her husband Charles T. Gibson; her stepson Dale Gibson; her siblings, Christine Barber, Kay Strickland and JB Bell; and her close friend James Kinkel.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie (Coffey), Mills (Don) of Indianapolis and Mike Coffey (Vicki) of Texas; her stepdaughter Nancy Sheppard (Tim) of Colorado; her grandchildren, Tom, Brian and Kim; her stepgrandchildren, Chris and Holly; her great grandchildren, Kelsey, Morgan, Hallie, Miranda, Luke and Karsyn; and her great great grandchildren, Raylee and Carsyn.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home and Cremation (5141 Madison Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center (5141 Madison Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227).
