He was predeceased by: his parent Welton Lake; his grandparents, Fred and Melvina White Sr.; his mother Eva Mae Lake Sr.; his brother Edward Smith; and his nephew Andre Lake.
He is survived by: his significant other Terri; his children, Kellita Morgan (Sam), JaMarkus and Damawn; his grandchildren, Tyler, Jeremiah, Terri, William and ShaMari; his great grandchild J'Lynn; his siblings, Charles Lake, Welton Lake Jr., Barbara Ann Staples, Ralph Lake (Latoya), Margaret Perry, Angie Lake, Danny Lake, Jamie Lake, Sally Sparks and Pam Gordon; and his nieces and nephews, Charles Lake Jr. (Brandi), Lakeyta Willingham, Terrell Lake (Desiree), Andrea Staples and Jeremy Staples. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
