As we bid Willie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Willie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Capps and Lucille Capps; his wife Barbara Fancher Capps; and his sister Nan Childers. He is survived by: his children, Vicky Woods (Tom), Willie Capps, Jr. (Lynda), Kathy Boelke (Mark) and Christopher Capps (Conni); and his brother Clifford Capps. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Floral Park (425 N Holt Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46222). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
