He was predeceased by: his parents, Clell Witty and Inus Helen Witty. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Witty; his children, Robyn, Chris, Adrienne, Daniel and Matt; his grandchildren, Zach, KaDee, Dilyn, Dalton, Shelby, Brookly, Kalli and Reigan; his great grandchildren, Audrey, Ivy, Logan and Blair; and his siblings, Greg Witty (June), Jeff Witty (Terri), Cora Sue, Hilda Walden (Johnny), Teresa Myatt (Julis) and Sherry Hassell (Mike).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home and Cremation (5141 Madison Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home and Cremation Center (5141 Madison Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227).
