We bid farewell to William G. Crays (Indianapolis, Indiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 9, 2025 at the age of 90. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Crays and Estella Crays (Neal); and his siblings, Eugene and Mary Evelyn. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Crays; his children, Gary L. Crays (Viki), Madonna L. Miles (Christopher), Cynthia J. Roberts (Vince) and Annette M. Waterman (Keith); and his grandchildren, Dustin Crays (Stefanie), Jesse Crays, Erin Floyd (Kenney), Sean Miles (Jennifer), Heidi Kuhlmeyer and Jordan Lanigan. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (4650 Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46226). An entombment will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250).
