William E. Rice Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William E. Rice of Indianapolis, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Frances Rice; his parents, George Rice and Laura Ellen Hawkins; and his stepson Ray Knapp. He is survived by: his children, Bruce Rice, Anthony Rice and Karen Rice; his stepchildren, Roger Knapp (Michelle), Debbie Knapp and Carla Engler (Fred); and his sister Wanda Sipe. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Conkle Funeral Home Speedway Chapel (4925 W 16th St, Indianapolis, IN 46224). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
