He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Bob and Anna; and his grandchildren, Dan (Jennifer Schmidt), Isaiah, Samuel, Cecilia, Luke, Maria, Veronica, Stephanie (Scott Sego), Phil (Johanna Schmidt), Wayne and Susan.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church (8115 Oaklandon Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46236).
