It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Waneta Montgomery of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Edna Smith (Moody); her brother Leonard Smith; and her close friend James "Jimmy" Krupa. She is survived by: her son Keith Montgomery; and her sister Wanda Inabnitt. She is also survived by brother Sonny Downs and many nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted but donations are preferred. Donation can be made to: Speedway Animal Rescue, 6530 West 11th Street Indianapolis IN 46214, Waneta would love that we save as many as cats as possible.

“I’m so sorry I basically grew up in my younger yrs with Waneta she was the sweetest lady I’ve ever met I knew her daddy ( used to play guitar for me ) and her momma ( used to make persimmon pudding for me ) she used to babysit me when I was little I was the first to hold Keith when she brought him home just a lovely lady rip girl you’ll be missed badly”
