Wallace E. Knauss Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wallace E. Knauss (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Knauss and Esther Knauss (White); his wife JoAnn Knauss (Moreton); his son Rick Knauss; and his grandchildren, Thad Gillon and Melissa Humerickhouse.

He is survived by: his children, Ron Knauss, Judi Gillon (Greg) and Barb Humerickhouse (Randy); his daughter-in-law Lorri Knauss; and his grandchildren, Chrissy Richey (Chris), Kyle Gillon (Heather), Kim Rohr (Tim), Kevin Gillon (Emily), Corey Knauss, Andrew Knauss and Becca Alan (Carl). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heather Hills Baptist Church (1421 N German Church Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46229). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Washington Park East (10612 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229).
