He was predeceased by: his parents, Biagio Lapenta and Majorie Lapenta; and his brothers-in-law, George Lemcke and Mike Fox. He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Lapenta; his children, Rick Lapenta (Kara) and Amy Hofer (Brent); and his sister Sue Lemcke.
