Vija Liepa Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2023, at the age of 91, Vija Liepa of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberts Odeiko and Helena Odeiko; her son Eric; and her sister Lidija Odeiko (Leons). She is survived by: her spouse Leons Liepa; her children, Mark Liepa (Inara) of Charlottesville, VA, Andra Liepa of Indianapolis and Astra Bessler (Jerry) of Avon; and her grandsons, Christopher Bessler of San Diego, CA and Andrew Bessler of Avon.

Memorial donations may be made to St Vincent de Paul Indianapolis or Catholic Relief Services.
