Vernon Leonard Zimmerman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2025, at the age of 84, Vernon Leonard Zimmerman of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Leonore, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vernon Leonard Zimmerman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Zimmerman and Ruth Zimmerman; and his siblings, Kent Zimmerman and Ellen Pufahl. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Zimmerman; his children, Kristin Gebhart (Todd), Elizabeth Woods (Frank), Jonathan Zimmerman (Jennifer Shockley) and Shane Zimmerman (Brook Stewart); and his sister Kay Barton. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (5353 McFarland Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM.
