Velma Jean Shobe Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Velma Jean Shobe of Indianapolis, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Velma Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Velma Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carter Memorial Missionary Baptist Church (853 W Roache St, Indianapolis, IN 46208). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
