It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Trent Laron Garrett (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on September 2, 2021, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Wilson (Garrett) and Johnny Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Christie Gillespie; his children, Danielle Garrett and Myles Garrett (Katherine McDaniel) of Indianapolis; and his siblings, Deborah Lloyd of Louisville, Cynthia Green (Donald) of Jacksonville and Anthony Garrett of Kentucky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
During COVID, Trent watched on-line service of Washington Memorial Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Darrell Ashby, who became his mentor and adviser during his Christian walk.
