Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Thomas Joseph Chiplis of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 99, on November 7, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix and Louise (Margaret); his brothers, Felix and Robert; and his daughter Sheila (Ron).
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Mary (late Kevin Turner), Beth (Dave Anderson), Tim, Martha (John Dunlevy), Carol and Chris (Lisa Chiplis); and his grandchildren, Rose, Ben, Patrick, Katie, Max, Wyatt and Haley.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church (4600 N Illinois St, Indianapolis, IN 46208).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to St. Meinrad in support of Catholic vocations, and St. Vincent de Paul Society.
