He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hunter; his son Steve Hunter (Deana); his stepchildren, Timothy Fowler, Kevin Fowler and Robin Nichols; and his brothers, Richard Hunter (Cheryl) and Michael Hunter (Lorraine). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
