He was predeceased by: his father Robert Carpenter, Sr. of Brownsburg, Indiana.. He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Carpenter (Fischer) of Brownsburg; his wife Katie Carpenter of Indianapolis; his children, Alex Carpenter (Zoe) of Indianapolis and Meghan Carpenter of Indianapolis; his siblings, Rob Carpenter (Bertha) and Cathy Tacoma (Ken); his nieces, Melanie Hildreth (Jeff) of Virginia, Laurel Tacoma of Virginia and Cara Kuiper (Chris); his stepchildren, Ashley Pierce-Ignateyeva (Alexei) of Karelia and Alex Pierce (Mandy) of Dover, Ohio; and his stepgrandchildren, Hannah, Charlotte and Connor.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Matthews Mortuary (690 E 56th St, Brownsburg, IN 46112). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Malachy Catholic Church (9833 E County Rd 750 N, Brownsburg, IN 46112).
