He was loved and cherished by many people including : his mother Goldie Mae Arthur; and his wife Jerri Rose.

But even this new direction in his life became a blessing when he met the woman who became his wife. And when the devastating Covid pandemic struck, Steve, true to his resilient constitution, though becoming severely ill, survived the scourge.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Steve's honor to the National Mental Health Association.
