He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Bennett and Agnes Bennett; his siblings, Mary, Muriel (Marilyn), Irish and Leon Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Louis J. and Florence M. Hurbanek of Pittsburgh, PA..
He is survived by: his caregiver Kathleen M. Bennett of Indianapolis, IN; his children, Stephen F. Bennett Jr. (Donna) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Julie C. Carmel (Cliff) of Sturbridge, MA and Deborah J. Boiteau (Wayne) of Southbridge, MA; his stepdaughters, Michelle M. and Carolyn A. Carnes; his siblings-in-law, Carol A (Robert F. Carter) and Gary L. (Ronda A. Hurbanek) of Poolesville, MD.; his grandchildren, Kevin, Renee, Ashley, Gabrielle, Luc, Lauren, Jamie, Christen, Nicolas, Benjamin, Aidan and Dylan; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Noah, Lyle, Rylee, Oscar, Grace, Bennett, Samuel and Lucy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services (1458 S Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46225). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
