She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold A. Williams and Edna Alberta Williams; her husband Gale E. Shearer; and her brothers, Frank Green, James Paul Overman, Carl Williams, Sonny Williams and Joseph Overman.

She is survived by: her daughter Angel D. Shearer; her close friend Jim Fish; her stepchildren, James Shearer, Dale Shearer, Charlie Shearer, Linda Hynes and Ruth Caldwell; and her siblings, John M. Williams, Vicki Herr and Jerry Shearer.
