She is survived by: her husband Jerry; her children, Jeff Hines (Patty) of Carmel, IN, Scott Hines of Lafayette, IN, Laura Hines of Biloxi, MS and Linda Hines-Werts (Bob) of Homer, IL; and her grandchildren, Alex Hines (Katie Hessel) of Indianapolis, Annie Hines of Miami, FL and Tyler Werts of Champaign, IL..

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial contribution be made in Shirley's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
