Sherman George Askren Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherman George Askren (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on August 25, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Hazel Franklin and Thomas Askren; his wife Joan E. Askren (Cadle); his daughter Mary J. Kelly; and his grandsons, Joel Kinney and John Kinney.
He is survived by: his children, Martha Clements (Dennis), Daniel Askren (Lynda), Deborah Livengood (Kurt) and Andrew Askren (Melanie); and his son-in-law George Kelly. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to any local organization that supports International Missions work.
