She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Hayes Manus and George Edward Manus; her husband Raymond L. Hurt Sr.; and her stepdaughter Cherie Bland. She is survived by: her children, Raymond Hurt II (Kelsey), Matthew Hurt and Ashley Russell (Gary); her stepson Mark Hurt; her grandchildren, Austin, Olivia, Gavin, Landon, Gatlin, Declan and Addison; her half-siblings, Evangeline "Bunny" Brown, Della Anderson and Michael Manus; and her caregivers, Maureen and Tammy.
