He is survived by: his children, Dr. Samuel Douglas Krutz (Melissa), Steven Thomas Krutz (Jaylee), Carl Sherman Krutz and Carol Petro (Loran); his grandchildren, Samuel, Elizabeth, Adam, Benjamin, Devon, Ashley, David, Amanda, Erin and Kelly; his great grandchildren, Kaleb, MadiLynn, Samuel, Uriah, Thomas and Johnny; and his sister Lilly McKinney.
The family has requested any memorial gifts be directed to the Alzheimer Association in his memory.
