He is survived by: his former wife Helen Clark; his children, Jim (Jennifer), Bill (Deanna), Paul (Melanie), Regina and Matt (Jody); his wife Sarah Highley; and his sisters, Ruth, Ardath and Barbara. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren as well as many special friends.
In lieu of flowers, Royal asked that people plant a tree or donate to an organization aiding the poor.
