He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence McElfresh and Mildred McElfresh (Hamilton); and his daughter Evelyn Hoffmann. He is survived by: his wife Ellen McElfresh (Bowers); his son Jeff McElfresh (Wendy); his grandchildren, Joseph Dawson (Leia), Jena McElfresh, Emily Dawson, Adam McElfresh and Eric Hoffmann; his great grandchildren, Kailey, Anna, Quinton, Blaine and Edwin Dawson; and his sister Betty Bloomfield (Neil).
