He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Edward Johnson and Ruth Marie Cooney (Gillon); and his brother Steven Edward Johnson. He is survived by: his siblings, Paul J. Johnson (Lora) of Mooresville, Mary Ann Huff of Florida, Mark Cooney (Julie) of Danville and Cindy McGlothlin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
