With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rick Sams (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on October 21, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Sams and Damon Sams; his wife Lura Sams; and his brother Larry Sams. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kelsey, Jessica, Logan (MacKenzie), Luke, Lainie (Wes), Zack and Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Rader and Rhett.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hamilton County Humane Society.
