In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard D. Van Laningham and Wilma J. Van Laningham. He is survived by: his siblings, Sherri Sherman (Steve) and Duane Van Laningham of Indiana; his children, Mandy Van Laningham Bishop, Melanie Van Laningham, Kyle Van Laningham and Taylor Van Laningham; and his grandchildren, Chloe Bishop of Alabama, Blakeleigh Balentine of Alabama and Kyson Balentine of Alabama.
