He was predeceased by: his daughter Lisa Litherland; his parents, Charles Litherland and Lelia Litherland; and his sister Cathy Litherland. He is survived by: his wife Joellen Litherland; his children, Kyle Litherland (Sandra), Derrick Litherland (Spring) and Jessica Litherland; and his grandchildren, Sean, Brayden, Salena, Karoline, Arie, Kia and Micheal.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
