We bid farewell to Otto J. Schwab in Indianapolis, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 28, 2024 at the age of 87. Otto touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Schwab and Agnes M. Schwab (Smith); his siblings, Anna Roberts, Lucille Marx, Mary Jo Papesh, Agnes Genier, Freda Moore and Joseph Schwab; and his granddaughter Nicole Christine Schwab.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Schwab (Cherry); his children, Kellie Hawkins (Dan), Kristie Conner (Tim), Kimberly Dunn (Tim) and Kevin Schwab (Shauna); his sister Evelyn Halliburton; and his grandchildren, Korie Giangola (Steve), Kolin Goff (Anna), Travis Conner (Hailey), Troy Conner, Shelby Thomas (Zach), Sara Cammack (Chris), Alex Dunn (Shelby), Amiyah Dunn, Sam Schwab (Taylor) and Ben Schwab. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Riley - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory (6107 S East St, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church (2905 Carson Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46203). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at the Calvary Cemetery (435 W Troy Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46225).
