With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nora Faye Hogston of Indianapolis, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Nora Faye may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Burchett and Zelpha Burchett (Bernard); her husband James Morris Hogston; and her brother Norman Burchett. She is survived by: her friends, Terri L. Cline, Bob Sexton and Neva Lucas.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Concordia Cemetery (2703 S Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46225).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Rosie's Southside Animal Shelter, 1614 W. Edgewood Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46217 or any animal shelter of the donor's choice, in tribute to her compassionate and giving nature.
