She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucian B. Smith and Elizabeth Stidham; her brothers, David B., James Harvey, Roy A, Ray Franklin and Lucian B. Jr.; and her son Walter Garvey Sturgill Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Michael L. Sturgill, Robin K Maher, Dawn Sturgill (Harold L. Hatfield) and Karen G (Allen E. Lyon); and her grandson Jason Hollan. She is also survived by his children; and countless friends.
