He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Richard, Joyce Dost, Valentin and Ermila Castaneda; his aunts, Deborah Acevedo and Esperanza Sanchez; and his uncle Peter Dost.
He is survived by: his parents, Barbara Lopez (Raul) and Valentin Castaneda Jr. (Valerie); his brothers, Valentin III, Alex Lopez (Abby), Nicholas and Benjamin; and his niece Sophia Lopez.
A reception was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home (1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
