He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Grimmitt and Emma Lee Grimmitt (Stephens); and his wife Tona A. Grimmitt (Pedigo). He is survived by: his children, Yonna Cates (Rob Young) and Mike Grimmitt (Kacie); his brother Dale Grimmitt; and his grandchildren, Erin and Evie Grimmitt.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation Services (1458 S Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46225). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
