It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ruella Peterson of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on August 10, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosemary Wicker (Sanders) and Charles Wicker; and her brother Clifford Wicker. She is survived by: her children, Anesta R. Zapf (Josh), Randi L. Peterson and Keith R. Peterson (Christina); her stepson Matt Peterson (Darcy); her brother Anthony Wicker; and her pet Phoebe Rose. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 7 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
