She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Fon and Katherine Fon; her husband John C. Conkle; her daughter Kathy Conkle; her siblings, Henry Fon (Mary), Robert L. Fon, Dorothy Hill (Charles) and Clara Koehl (Joseph); her son-in-law Steve Bartenbach; her granddaughter Holly Jo Bartenbach; and her in-laws, Roscoe and Alice Conkle.
She is survived by: her daughter Alice Bartenbach (Conkle); her grandson Steve; her sister-in-law Audrey Fon; and her son-in-law Kerwin "Kurly" LeClaire. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel (4925 W 16th St, Indianapolis, IN 46224). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Christopher Catholic Church (5301 W 16th St, Indianapolis, IN 46224).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gleaners Food Bank (gleanors.org) or St. Christopher Catholic Church, Food Pantry.
