She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. McHaffey and Ethel A. McHaffey (Parks); her spouse Melville Clyde Kennedy; her daughter-in-law Diana Kennedy (Michael); and her siblings, William McHaffey, Mary Trisler, Marjorie Worth, Dorothy Ferree and Freeda Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Crafton, Michael Kennedy, Debra Roach (Gayland), Kathie Kennedy and Larry Kennedy (Sandra). She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel (4925 W 16th St, Indianapolis, IN 46224). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ben Davis Christian Church (701 S High School Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46241).
