She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Harvey and Grace Harvey; her husband John Smith, Jr.; and her siblings, Shirley Lawrence, Betty Capps, Paul Capps, Don Harvey and Randal Capps.

She is survived by: her son Brian Smith; her grandson Zach Smith; and her brothers, Larry Harvey (Nancy) and Bobby Harvey.
