With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Jane Dick of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, who passed away on October 5, 2021 at the age of 101. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Jane Dick to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Theron Herbert and Mary Kassebaum Smashey; her sister Mary; her husband Donald Dick; and her children, David Dick (Liz Slawson), John Dick (Tobi Weinstein) and Elizabeth Laslie (Jeff). She was also cherished by her 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She helped initiate a Bethel Bible Study series at IPC and, for nearly 25 years taught a weekly bible study that ended only due to the covid outbreak.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Irvington Presbyterian Church.
