In the sacred silence of farewell, Malcom is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Malcom's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Joseph Polk and Marjorie Manning; and his sister Nathalie Ford. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia D. Patterson-Polk; his son Malcolm Joseph Scott Polk; his sisters, Lisa Sherrell (Michael), Kim Meadows, Victoria Jones and Paula Milbrooks (Patrick); his mother-in-law Bobbie D. Patterson; and his sisters-in-law, Rosi A. Patterson and Deborah R. Posey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greater New Hope Church (3444 W 71st St, Indianapolis, IN 46222). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
