She is survived by: her mother Loretta Mitchell; her children, Michael Mitchell, Maria Favors and Shaniquea Mitchell; her grandchildren, King-R'Tez Mitchell-Goolsby, Queen-Ah'leya Favors, Aria Mitchell, Malic Mitchell, Lei'lanii Favors, Leland Favors and Ava Mitchell; and her brothers, Rollie Mitchell and Mark Summerour.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lavenia & Summers Home For Funerals (5811 E 38th St, Indianapolis, IN 46218). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
