He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce Stringer. He is survived by: his father Roy Stringer; his wife Brenda (Craney); his daughters, Marie Weber (Jason), Judy Holman (William), Cindy Miller (Robert) and Elizabeth Stringer (Mark Casey); his grandchildren, Marissa Weber, Madelyn, Maura Holman, Lola, Sadie and Robbie Miller; and his siblings, David Stringer (Carlene), Patricia Hechinger (Gary), Wayne Stringer, Jeanne Rogers (Wayne), Gay Stringer and Charlene Czerwinski (Daniel). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church (1449 S High School Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46241).
