She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton Reed; and her parents, Lawrence Adams and Hortense Sieffert Adams. She is survived by: her sons, Chris Reed (Diane) and Larry Reed (Angie); and her stepchildren, Aaron Reed (Audry), Ardith Conely and Suzy Fortress. She is also survived by grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
