With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Louise Rushin (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on October 14, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Cowherd and Ella Cowherd (Wilson); her son James; her husband James Rushin; her son Charles Rushin; and her grandsons, Antonio Thacker and Andrew Moreland.

She is survived by: her sister Catherine; and her children, Edward Rushin, Lee Rushin (Octavia), Lemar Moreland (Clarence) and Joyce Rushin. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, over 20 great- grandchildren, over 8 great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and a multitude cousins and friends.
