She was predeceased by: her husband Donald C. Hafer; her mother Zena Thompson; her daughter-in-law Amber Hafer; her siblings, Stan Thompson and Pamela M. Monnig; and her niece Kabrina K. Hafer.

She is survived by: her children, Dax Cristian Hafer, Katherine Marie Hafer and Jordan Sophia Hafer; her siblings, Emily S. Miles, Donna J. Nylander (Doug), Linda G. Catron (Rich) and Mark Thompson (Barbara); and her grandchildren, Ariel Shaw, Jax Shaw, Sophia Hafer, Chester Bryant, Emma Bryant and Anna Bryant. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions have been suggested to Children International or anything that helps children in need or those with mental illness.
